HOT TAKE Spotlight: Slippery Slope Remains Undefeated!…By: Chris Larson

The  “Slippery Slope Fallacy” :A slippery slope fallacy occurs when someone makes a claim about a series of events that would lead to one major event, usually a bad event. In this fallacy, a person makes a claim that one event leads to another event and so on until we come to some awful conclusion. –  owl.excelsior.edu

It appears that the Slippery Slope “fallacy” is itself a fallacy; or possibly even what the kids call “gaslighting”, wherein someone concocts a false reality to confuse or manipulate another, usually with the intention of driving them insane (example: see this CDC recommendation >>> https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/clinical-considerations/interim-considerations-us.html#:~:text=COVID%2D19%20vaccination%20is%20recommended,date%20with%20COVID%2D19%20vaccination.)

I’d say we definitely have found ourselves at “some awful conclusion”, in so many ways.

I graduated in the late 80’s, and from my perspective, that was Peak America. In nearly every measurable metric, Americans are worse off in 2024 compared to 35 years ago. Middle class buying power/income, physical health, mental health, trust in our institutions, freedom from government surveillance, public school standardized test scores, military preparedness, nutritional value in our foods, virtue (remember that concept anyone?), psychotropic drug usage (an estimated 1 in 5 women are on “antidepressants”), racial harmony, shared cultural values, sexual deviancy.

The last one is the most obviously notable in these debased times we are mired in. Sexual deviancy. Just saying the phrase feels refreshing, like a forgotten memory of simpler times of the past. Think of Little House on the Prairie. There simply was no sexual deviancy in that show, or any show pre-Will & Grace (1998) that depicted (gaslit) abnormal sexuality in such glowing and approving framing. I’m not alleging that sexual deviancy began in 1998, so calm down all you drag queen enthusiasts!

I am saying that before we started sliding down the slippery slope (or as Robert Bork’s excellent book title puts it, “Slouching Towards Gomorrah”) of the idolization of perversion, some of us were standing at the top of the bank, protesting in Chicken Little fashion that these seemingly innocuous steps such as enjoying a light hearted sitcom featuring a friendly gay dude as the hero had an endpoint that looks a lot like what were a facing today. I’m remembering a time in my life when it was normal to label certain activities “sexual deviancy”, and to judge them as not normal and certainly not ideal. No parent hoped their kids would have to struggle with these type of issues. Now, watch any modern tv series and the story will inevitably feature a lesbian, no matter what the plot may be. This is called “normalization propaganda”.

Slip sliiiidning awaaaaaayy….

I found out a few years ago that I am a “cis male”. Who knew? Well, the late great Norm Macdonald was early in on this lunacy »> see when he explained to another comedian that when non-heteronormative (look it up, it’s a real term) use the term “cis male”, they are trying to “marginalize normal men”.

The fear of falling down a Slippery Slope is that you will end up someplace you do not ever want to be. Or dead even. Kinda like it feels right now.

Well, I for one do not want to be in a world where actual medical doctors are enthusiastically producing YouTube videos (No I am NOT linking to this type of content) explaining in great detail the process of eviscerating a man’s penis at the request of said man. Pre 1998, this type of “procedure” would have been nightmare fuel for approximately 99.99% of men. All men, throughout all of time, everywhere.

And yet here we are.

At the top of the gay slope, some people said “Hey man, what do you care what people do in the privacy of their bedroom?”. This is a difficult argument to defeat, at least for many normies. Of course, the whole reality of the Slippery Slope is that critical thinking demands that we imagine what the world looks like if we abandon this one particular standard, say 20 years from now. This is what went through my mind, back then. “Where will it end?”, I asked. I never imagined we’d be on the doorstep to pedophilia acceptance (See —https://www.mdedge.com/psychiatry/article/242357/minor-attracted-persons-neglected-population  to learn about the soon-to-be “marginalized group” MAPS) in such a short period of time.

And yet here we are.

The Slippery Slope wins again, and we’re not even close to the bottom of the ravine yet. Have you heard of “Otherkins” yet? Otherkin are a subculture of people who identify as partially or entirely nonhuman. These are the people, mostly adolescents, who claim to be animals, such as cats. The “litter boxes in schools” rumor has spread across the country due to the very real fad that is gaining traction. Coming soon to a school near you, to be affirmed by the Tolerant Ones.

As we slip and slide down the muddy bank of demonic depravity, you may look up and yet barely make out the firm ground we used to stand on, where one in four (1 in 4!) teenagers did not “identify” as queer. Go ahead and tell me this isn’t a Social Contagion. And for you atheists who reject the idea of Biblical law, please answer this question: If you believe that humanity is a result of millions of years of evolutionary survival-of-the-fittest natural selection, how in the world can you explain the exponential explosion of anti-propagation activity in the past 10 years of our modern era? Population decline and self-sterilization does not an Evolution Theory make.

Another Slippery Slope: Anti-Christianity (Satanism/Atheism). I never imagined that being a Christian, in America, would be such a controversial position (see: https://den.mercer.edu/christian-ethics-professor-analyzes-threats-to-democracy-in-latest-book/) that for many of our fellow countrymen represent a “threat to democracy”. But if you go back to when secularists in the public schools removed the Bible and Ten Commandments, there were many Christians who warned about the Slippery Slope of so-called “secularism”. Since then, “secularists” have become intolerant and hostile to any Christian who simply tries to promote any example God’s Law, or what we all used to accept as Normal. If you want a demonstration, just go ahead and comment on your local news Facebook page on any story relating to queerness or abortion. Just post a bible verse and heads will absolutely explode. You will be called a “Christofascist!”, whatever that is supposed to be. And you will be told to stop “shoving your religion down my throat!”. To paraphrase C.S. Lewis, the world will allow you to practice your religion, as long as you shut up about it.

And it’s not like the public sphere is religion-free. It’s “not whether, but which”, to quote Doug Wilson. Or as Bob Dylan put it, “you gotta serve someone”. The new religion is the woke one, that demands that we tolerate every single cockamamie idea, no matter how grotesque, that pops up in our social media feed or TV series.

Transgressives have taken control of nearly every power center in our modern Clown World. They’ve even made inroads into America’s “Christian” churches, many of whom are perfectly happy to affirm every abomination (Leviticus 18:22) in the interest of expedience and conflict avoidance.

The assault on the family is another major part of our lives that have completely fallen down the slope. We now must accept, through the propaganda of our media, and against every possible real world statistic, that the concept that a husband and wife make the ideal option for parenting.

Two gays, one single parent, doesn’t matter! All the same! Soon it will be “no parents/ raised by the State”. Mark my words.

Slipping and sliding…

Check out this YouTube promo for an artificial womb factory concept imagined by a “scientist from Berlin (of course!) who named his company “EctoLife” >>>

When our modern-day Dr. Frankensteins make this abomination a reality in a few years, remember that it all started at the top of a Slippery Slope.

Many more examples abound in this hyper-techno Godless world, and it’s difficult to image how many more slopes we may start falling down in our lifetime. But one thing looks clear to me. We need to claw our way back up some of these mudslides, put up some guardrails, and never fall for the lies of this depraved world again.
